You may have heard the term “blended learning”. This term is used to describe training that is a combination of online learning and instructor-led / in-group training.
Blended learning is often the way people experience online learning for the first time. While you have a traditional in-person group session with the support of a facilitator or teacher, you also have experience going online to access course content and resources. You may also be asked to go online to share information and upload assignments or complete a quiz.
This style of learning will work best if you want the flexibility of online learning but enjoy interacting with the professor or instructor. It’s also ideal if you prefer more structure or you are motivated by direct contact with other students.
